Pondering

If I ponder

what "might have been",

tears of self-centeredness

drown my spirit.

If I ponder

what "will be",

apprehension

immobilizes me.

Pondering

what "is",

in the darkness of fears

and seeming imperfections

dulls my senses.

Living

what "is"

by the clear bubbling waters

of Grace and Gratitude,

I am enriched;

and what "will be"

"is",

and "might have been"

matters not.
